Frequently Asked Questions

Is CaryRx a pharmacy?

Yes, we distribute directly from our pharmacy located in Washington, DC.

CaryRx’s founders have backgrounds in both pharmacy and technology. We built CaryRx because you deserve a pharmacy that can provide an amazing mobile experience.

You will love your new pharmacy.

Where do you deliver? Is delivery free?

Free scheduled same-day delivery is available to all of Washington, DC, and parts of Maryland and Northern Virginia. Scheduled deliveries must be confirmed by no later than 1pm. The following map shows our same-day delivery coverage.

The darker blue shared area on the map shows locations eligible for ‘express’ delivery, our fastest delivery option available where orders can be delivered on-demand, typically within two hours!

CaryRx is also able to ship nationwide. Please note: We are unable to deliver / ship controlled substance medications outside of Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. You’ll see all delivery options available to your location when placing an order in the CaryRx app.

Do you deliver controlled substances?

We have currently reached our regulatory limit for accepting new patients requiring schedule II controlled substances, such as Adderall and Vyvanse.

We understand the importance of these medications and recognize the impact this may have on our patients. Our team is actively working within regulatory guidelines to explore options and potentially expand our capacity in the future.

Do you ship refrigerated medications such as WeGovy and Mounjaro?

At this time, we are unable to ship refrigerated medications beyond the areas of DC, MD, and VA. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the required cold chain storage temperatures during transit.

We understand the importance of these medications, and our team is working diligently to find solutions. Currently, we can deliver/mail non-refrigerated and non-controlled medications to our patients.
